Steven graduated with a BSC in Physiotherapy. His main goal is to be the most dynamic physiotherapist to be able to assist all people that he comes into contact with.

B. Sc. Physiotherapy at Stellenbosch University. He then completed his community service year at Postmasburg Hospital in the Northern Cape. From 2018, Steven joined a private practice which was involved in sports and orthopaedics (with special interest in spinal and peripheral joints) and included working for the New Zealand Indoor Netball team, during tours in South Africa. Steven then moved to a hospital practice where he was involved with sports, orthopaedic, pulmonary, cardiac and paediatric patients.

Steven's hobbies are spending time with his four-legged child (dog - Staffie), hiking, trail riding and dog walks with his wife, cooking and gardening (herbs), anything sports (watching or playing), and travel (local and international)

What can I expect during my first appointment?

At your first appointment you can expect a thorough examination from our expert physio, they will ask you a number of questions regarding your condition as well as conduct a physical evaluation in order to determine the best course of treatment for you.  After this, the remainder of the session will be dedicated to providing the most appropriate treatment and therapy for your condition.

How many physiotherapy sessions will I require?

Upon evaluation, our physio will provide you with an in-depth treatment plan that details the exact steps necessary for your recovery and an approximate timeframe.

Is there parking available at the Bundaberg Physio location?

Plentiful street parking is available at our Bundaberg Physio clinic.

Are your physios trained and accredited?

Yes. All our therapists are AHPRA registered and invest their time to complete post-graduate education yearly to further strengthen their education and knowledge.

Am I able to claim my physio session through my private health insurance?

Yes, you can. All our clinics are equipped with on-the-spot Hicaps payment and claims processing.

Can I access physiotherapy through my NDIS plan?

All Health First Group physiotherapists are registered NDIS providers, meaning they are able to treat self-managed, agency (NDIA) managed and plan-managed NDIS participants.

Do I need a GP referral for physiotherapy?

No, a doctor’s referral is not necessary.
